Susan Hansen Wins Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award

InvestmentNews has recognized Susan Hansen as a 2020 Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Awards winner. Susan Hansen, along with 13 other individuals, were chosen from over 120 nominations by a committee of InvestmentNews representatives to be recognized for their ability to inspire others from diverse backgrounds to join, flourish and bring their true selves to work in the financial services industry.

Susan Hansen said of receiving the award:  “I’m so honored to be one of the inspiring individuals chosen for this award. I share this award with the caring team of individuals that are committed to socially responsible investing at Hansen’s Advisory Services.”

InvestmentNews is proud to introduce the third annual Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion recognition program. Our awards aim to tell the story of individuals and firms who have used their success, leadership skills, and willingness to implement and advocate for diversity and inclusion within the financial advisory industry.

“Our 2020 Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Awards and recognition program is intended to highlight D&I in financial advice and, more importantly, promote the proliferation of equal opportunity for everyone – regardless of their ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and physical limitations,” said Liz Skinner, special projects editor of InvestmentNews. “These individuals are amazing role models for the next generation.”

Susan Hansen, along with the other individuals and firms making the third annual Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion list, is highlighted in the August 31st issue of InvestmentNews and online at DandIIN.com.
